I was lucky enough to get a free copy of this on Smash Words. Narcissus is a very sweet, caring hero and you get equal insight into his thoughts/feelings as you do the heroine Violet. I think the author is an excellent writer (check out her Gaian series, particularly "Beloved Enemy"). I'll definitely purchase the next book in the series based on the strength of this one. I was originally reluctant to try this book as my understanding of Narcissus was of an extremely vain, selfish person and who wants to read about that, but the author shows a different side and so I'm willing to trust she does the same in the other books (Echo and Nemesis' stories).Product details
